Subject: GOD OR GIRL FRIEND/BOY FRIEND?
Dear Family
Been listening to your station for several years. Love the messages and uplifting DJs.
However, so many times when just music is playing I have to wait to hear the announcer to
Know I'm not listening to a pop music love song. It's hard to hear God being worshipped or praised. Instead of my thoughts going along lines of God my thoughts are carried to visuals of a b/f singing about his G/F.
Chris Tomlin,MercyMe, and others clearly are glorifying Him, but many "love songs" often make me wonder how many "gospel" singers are using the Christian radio venues as an alternate to breaking into the pop music.
Your stations reach millions, and perhaps those shall I call them beige songs, will capture the attention of surfing listeners and capture their interest.
I'm conflicted when I hear songs that clearly seem written not to God but to a human and its bothersome.
"God meant it for good."
Just wanted to share my concerns.
