Haitian's practice Voodoo along with Catholicism. Period.

Btw, please pray for those poor, helpless Haitian children and for the few Haitian's that truly DO believe in Jesus and DO NOT practice Voodoo along side of it.

The lack of grace and tact that Robertson showed in his statement was, well, sad. You'd think a man as well versed in the scriptures and the things of God would have at least a bit of understanding of Grace. I guess not.

My copy of the bible says in 2 Peter 3:9 that God's will is that "none should perish but that everyone should come to a saving knowledge of Him." It doesn't say that if people have been duped and find themselves in sin (raise your hand if that isn't you---put your hand down, ya LIAR) that God hates them.

Did they they deserve death? Sure. Is their sin any worse than Kathy Cole's sin, or mine? No. We all deserve death. I guess the question to me is how can we dare sit here in our arrogance pointing at the TV screen and say "you got what you deserved!" when we deserve the same?

It seems to me that we should be praying for EVERYONE (Pat, believers, unbelievers, and ourselves), not just innocent (yet sin riddled) Haitian children.
