Family Life Ministries, Inc. interviewed or corresponded with, in various forms 58 individuals who showed interest the various openings with the Family Life Network. There was extensive turnover this past year as the Network lost seven people to other areas. We were fortunate to be able to locate the right people at the appropriate times, though one news anchor is still needed and the organization had to let go one on-air announcer shortly after being hired.

Family Life Ministries, Inc. utilizes a few primary methods of securing qualified applicants. These sites also provide a good cross section of minority applicants. FLM also utilized in-house efforts by posting these positions, along with the position on its own website employment opportunities section as well as announcing current staff needs at FLM public sponsored events.

Both on-air positions were filled as a result of personal contact with current staff members. Two news anchors were filled this past year. One position was filled by a young lady who had interned with the organization during her college years. The other was filled as a result of a contact made through a reference check. The two public relations positions were filled as a result of personal contacts.

FLM's participation in a major job fair at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Orlando allowed us to interview four individuals for various positions. During the previous year, we corresponded with eight individuals as a direct result of personal contact from on-air announcements or referrals from others; 19 applicants came as a result of FLM's website; eight contacts were made through Intercristo; FLM interviewed one individual as a result of its advertising in JournalismJobs.com, fourteen from HisAir.net; and four from RadioOnline.com.

Of those interviewed thirteen were women, two were Latino and one was African-American.
