Faith under Fire: Creative Freedom and the Supreme Court (“The Cake Case”)

11.30.17 | Traci Lynn Woolsey

Jack Phillips owns Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, Colorado. He has served many people of the LGBT community. But Jack was sued by a gay couple when Phillips refused to make a cake for their same-sex wedding on the basis of his own personal convictions.

Jack's convictions also cause him to not create items for Halloween nor does he include alcohol in his baked goods.

Alliance Defending Freedom is arguing for religious and creative freedom in the case of Jack Phillips vs. Charlie Craig and David Mullins.

Jeremy Dys [dise] serves as Deputy General Counsel for First Liberty Institute. He updates listeners on the case that goes before the Supreme Court next week, December 5, 2017.
