I wish the BSA hadn't gone that way, as a recently retired Scoutmaster. From what I heard from local Council leaders, there was a big difference in older adults and younger adults in positions. Reflecting society in general, there's a definite trend among younger adults to not see homosexuality as a big deal. A pity that Scouting, which has been countercultural in so many good ways, couldn't have stood firm in this one.
