Monday, at the first of several remembrance ceremonies, victims were honored.

Senator Chuck Schumer called friends and families of the victims "western New York's greatest generation."

Congressman Chris Collins also applauded the advocacy of family survivors for flight safety reforms that "has kept our nation safe."

The families will meet at the Clarence Zion Lutheran Church at 8 tonight, and proceed to the crash site on Long Street in Clarence Center from there.
