Time Warners Cable Speeds May Not Be As Speedy As They Are Saying They Are

The attorney general launched an investigation into upstate's largest cable provider and found customers didn't always receive the "blazing fast" and "super reliable" internet speeds the company advertises.

Eric Schneiderman's office announced in October it was investigating whether internet service providers are providing the broadband speeds for which they are charging customers. The results from Time Warner: abysmal, according to the state.

Another company, Charter, acquired Time Warner in May and they're working on making all internet digital-- to speed things up-- Upstate.
