Many people are waking up to dead car batteries in the frigid cold temperatures.

Towing companies in the Rochester area say they're working overtime to keep up with calls.

Chris Hunt with Action Towing in Henrietta says batteries typically last five to six years, but cold weather wears them down faster.

Hunt recommends running your car for more than 20 minutes a few times each week to keep the battery charged.
