The students will be rowing for eight days along the Erie Canal from Amherst to Albany.

So far, they've raised about $30,000 for Holy Childhood School based in Rochester.  The school helps children and young adults with developmental challenges.

Friday will be the longest day of rowing for the students.  They'll be rowing for 60 miles all the way to Brockport, with only a short lunch break halfway through.
