Religious Exemption Eliminated In Ny State

Governor Cuomo signed the controversial bill into law last night that repeals the exemption which allowed parents of children to cite their religious beliefs to opt a kid out of the vaccines required for school enrollment.

Religious exemption advocates protested the signing ceremony.

 

New York is one of just four states in the U.S. to ban religious exemptions for vaccinations.
