Those four battleground states are all urging the high court to toss out the lawsuit.

Pennsylvania's Democratic Attorney General Josh Shapiro calls the suit a "seditious abuse of judicial process."

In their response Thursday, attorneys general for Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia asked the Supreme Court to toss out the lawsuit, stating the case has no factual or legal grounds and offers only "bogus" claims.

But, 100 House Republicans and attorneys general for 18 states have signed on to the suit.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says the four states in question ran unconstitutional elections by sending mail-in and absentee ballots to voters.
