He says the recently announced cost-of-living adjustment is not enough, and he blames it on a flawed funding formula.  

The senator says seniors' spending habits are unique to seniors.  They typically spend more when it comes to health care and prescription drugs.

Starting next year, some 70 million Social Security recipients will be getting about $5 more per month, their lowest cost of living adjustment in the history of Social Security.
