The bill, signed and sealed by both houses of the legislature, now sits on Governor Tom Wolf's desk.  He says he'll sign it Sunday.

Crowds on both sides of the aisle were up late into the night, waiting. As news of the vote came in, there were were both cheers and boos at the capitol last night.
Some argue marijuana is safer than other drugs, but pro-family groups insist it's a gateway to drug addiction.

Once Governor Wolf signs the bill into law, it won't take effect for a month. 25 growing permits will be issued statewide, along with 50 permits for dispensaries. It will take 2 years for dispensaries to get up and running.
