A Slow Moving Snow Storm Makes For Tricky Travel In Ny Pa

Today's winter storm is ushering in snow for some and sleet, ice, and rain for much of our coverage area.

With winter weather advisories or winter storm warnings for much of our area, including western New York and most of Pennsylvania, governors from both states are urging you to use caution on your morning and evening commutes.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf says the state of emergency declaration he signed in January remains in effect to allow for increased assistance with storm-related needs.

Many interstates in eastern and central PA are under travel and speed restrictions.

The Twin Tiers and central New York are expected to get the heaviest amounts of snow, ranging from four to eight inches, before sleet, freezing rain, and rain.
