Dose of Encouragement...

1 John 2:4... The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Integrity and obedience to God always walks hand in hand!

Just to bring it to your attention waht is shown on online is several minutes behind what is actually playing on line. Just want to bring this to your attention. This could be very confusing for people that are not familiar with these songs.

Sonny, I think it was you and Denny on the morning show who talked about forgiveness one day. I wanted to call in to share this but wasn't able to at the time. Passing it on now in case it seems worth sharing with your audience. All my teenage and adult years, so many things I've said or done (sinful, dorky, or just plain embarrassing) have come to mind that just made me squirm to remember, over and over. In many cases, asking God's forgiveness has put a particular issue to rest for good. There have been a number of things, though, that have come back repeatedly over the years no matter how many times I asked God's forgiveness for them. Several months ago I thought, this is silly. "If God has forgiven me, he no longer remembers it, and there's no reason to keep squirming over it or repeatedly asking God's forgiveness! So what am I missing? Why do these things keep coming back to haunt me?" The answer I felt in my heart was, "you need to forgive yourself as I have forgiven you." WOW, Sonny. It is so much quieter and more peaceful in my head and heart now--forgiving myself for these things (some very trivial, some less so)in addition to accepting God's forgiveness has silenced these niggling accusations that have plagued me for years. What an awesome God we belong to!
Thank you for the life and light of Christ and the fun and encouragement and hope you bring to me daily as I drive to work. What a blessing you are, my brother. God bless you.

Hi Sonny, I enjoy listening to your program everyday. I heard what testimony tuesday is about today. I am not a new believer but I did hear a song during Share-a-thon that I really like and I think it's appropriate for today's topic. It's by David Phelps "End of the Beginning". Could you please play it.

Thank You
