sometimes the Lord replaces our anger with something beautiful. I prayed for my husbands salvation for 29 yrs. During our 47 yrs. of marriage i was hurt and very angry about his unfaithfullness to me. But...God gave me such a love for his soul that I could never walk away. He came to know the Lord and lived the last two years of his life on fire for God. We go through life carring two buckets, one is full of gasoline and one full of water. When situations arise we have a choice do we throw the water or the gasoline, gasoline always leads to anger. giving Him the Glory

Several years ago, I went through a divorce I neither expected nor wanted. After my then husband left,(for another woman) I turned to a local church. I had a friend who had asked me to come along with her. As I went to the Sunday School class that morning, the lesson being taught was (of all things...talk about God's PERFECT timing...) "forgiveness"!!!!! I sat and began listening when I suddenly cried out, "How an you forgive someone who LEAVES you?" Well, the teacher, being a gracious, God-fearing person, found someone to carry on her lesson for her and she took me along to her home! We sat at her kitchen table and she showed me scripture after scripture about God's forgiveness and how we must forgive others who hurt us, no matter how deeply they have hurt us. Even though it was hard and so new to me, I then chose to forgive this man whom I had married and loved for 11 years. Many miracles followed. No, we did not get back together, but God was faithful to carry me through and I am now married to another believer. If we are but willing to bend and choose the ways of the Lord, we can be carried through all murky waters in the arms of He who loves us more than we can even comprehend.
The bottom line is that we can choose to hate and be angry, but in the end, Jesus told us we forgive in order to be forgiven!
