Dose of Encouragement...

(Philippians 3:13-14) …Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

There is no greater goal than to pursue the call of Christ.  Everything else on earth is just a cheap imitation compared to the priceless prize of knowing Him.

I would like to hear the song Glory by Selah, for 2 reasons. First, because it gives hope in a world where so much bad is happening. It always stops me in my tracks and brings tears to my eyes. The second reason is for my sister in Christ Diane who hasn't heard this song and I know it will minister to her in a great way. Thank you, I thank God for this radio station that reaches soooooo many people.

The song that really touches my heart is I Can Only Imagine by Mercyme. My son who was ten at the time asked that we play it at my grandma's funeral. We knew that grandma would be in heaven but hearing that song was very emotional. I just want to thank God that we don't have to imagine what it will be like because if we believe in him and accept him as our savior we will be there.

I am so thankful for God's timing with the FFH song It Was Worth It All, at least I think that's the title as I so rarely heard the song with the artist mentioned. Several years ago I had sinned against the LORD. HE disciplined me but the whole thing left me in a very severe depression with no place to turn for real help. On several occasions when I saw no hope that son would be playing on Fln and it just may have helped save my life. I know the song is too whiny sounding to give just anyone pleasure, but I highly appreciate it and wonder if others wouldn't also if it were played more.
