After three great shows with Point Of Grace, Mark is back by popular demand Friday, October 2nd at 7 pm at Bethel Christian Fellowship in Rochester - a benefit concert for Bethany Christian Services. Plus, we'll throw in TWO Mark Schultz CDs - his "live" album and his newest release, "Come Alive"!

Have you heard about a "Ladie's Night Out"? We'll have details.

Dose of Encouragement:

1 Peter 1:4   For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. God’s promise for those who earnestly seek Him is not only the hope of heaven, but the very substance of that hope; a place of eternal bliss that can’t be spoiled.

I was listening to the gentleman this morning commenting about being a single man and being lonely. I did not hear his entire story, but he seemed hurt and discouraged. However, his thought that women who have children have it so much easier because we receive love from our children and are not alone, was rather offensive. Being a single mom for 19 years I must say that although I treasure the love of my child that does not negate the loneliness, the sleepless nights worrying about my child growing up without a father, trying to figuring out how to pay the bills, and trying get her to all her activities at church, ballet, swimming, etc., etc., etc. for years, while maintaining a full time job! I understand he must be hurt but to down play the role of a single mother was way out of line!
