Nick's Picks: Cobb Salad

1 Head of Romaine Lettuce Trimmed Washed and chopped
8 Cherry tomatoes wedged
About 8 ounces of chicken diced and cooked
1 Pound Bacon Cooked crispy drained and chopped
4 Hard boiled eggs Sliced
1 Cucumber Sliced
1/2 Red onion minced
Blue Cheese Crumbles
2 Avocado Sliced

1/4 C Balsamic Vinegar
3/4 C Canola Oil
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp powdered garlic

Top the lettuce with toppings. For the dressing, place vinegar in a bowl and slowly add oil while whisking vigorously. Add seasonings and drizzle over salad for a flavor boost!
Serves 4 large salads

One of my favorites - yours looks delicious. Although I am usually a "seasonal" eater (i.e., eat & cook what is in season), I will have this one of these days soon!

This receipe looks wonderful. Am certainly going to try it. Has a different twist to what I usually put in my salads but think it will be a big hit!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm also thrilled I have an actual receipe for home made salad dressing. I am always taking a little of this & a little of that & hoping it has enough of everything in it so it tastes OK. Now I have actual measurements. Thanks Nick =)
