About 5 cups cubed bread

4 Tbsp Butter

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Tsp Nutmeg

1 tsp Vanilla Pinch of salt

12 Eggs

4 Cups of Milk

1 Tbsp Cinnamon

1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves

Spray a 9x13 pan and place the bread evenly on the bottom. In a small sauce pot, melt the butter. Add brown sugar, nutmeg and vanilla and stir. Pour the butter over the bread cubes. Press the bread and into the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. Bread should start to get hard.
In a large bowl, crack the eggs and scramble. Add milk and spices and mix well. Pour over the baked bread and place back in the oven for about another 30 minutes, or until set.
Once set, place in fridge until cool. Cut the bread pudding and serve with whipped cream if you'd like! Serves 12

I am so anxious to try this recipe as our family loves bread pudding.

This sounds so much like a french toast recipe that I have. Except you put the bread cubes in and then mix everything up and pour over and let it soak overnight and then bake it the next morning. I have never had bread pudding but I can't wait to make this.
