Michael Tait from Newsboys says Billy Graham is a father figure to him. It started when Tait was in DC Talk with tobyMac and Kevin Max. Ruth Graham would tell them to “Stock the pond, so Billy can go fishing….fill the stadium so he can preach to lost souls.” The Newsboys’ song “We Believe” is on the new CD, “My Hope: Songs Inspired by the Message and Mission of Billy Graham.” Listen to win it 11/5 on Tunesday on Family Life.

Mandisa made her Grand Ole Opry debut last night when she joined in the fight against breast cancer during the Opry’s fifth annual “Opry Goes Pink.” She was joined Amy Grant and Natalie Grant in an evening for breast cancer awareness.

Steven Curtis Chapman’s daughter is becoming quite a gymnast. Stevie Joy spends at least 16 hours every week in the gym. Mom, Mary Beth says “I wouldn't trade helping her with her dream in a million years.”

Besides being a wife, mom and musicians, Laura Story is leading a Bible study at her local church. She’s teaching newcomers on who the Bible says Jesus is.

Chris Huffman says they now have a donation site set up for their son Silas. The young son of the Casting Crowns bass player is waiting for a heart transplant. It’s expected to cost at least $50,000. If you can give, click here.

Just one more state and Hawk Nelson will have conquered America. Lead singer Jon Steingard says the group played in Rhode Island for the first time over weekend. He says Hawaii is the only state the group has never performed in.
