Family Life Artist News – 3/25/13

Return to Idol:  Colton Dixon is returning to the American Idol stage.  He’s performing on the show Thursday, 3/28 and says he has something special planned for Angie Miller.  She performed one of his songs a few weeks back.  Colton has also been added to the Kingdom Bound roster for this summer’s festival.

A Shoulder to Lean On:  Plumb’s song "Need You Now" and Josh Wilson’s song “Carry Me” have a deep connection.  Both were written about panic attacks, which each both artists suffer from.  Plumb and Josh know each other well, and have talked about their common connection.  Plumb talks with Rachelle from Family Life Morning about this and more on a podcast you can hear when you click here.

It’s a Real Baby:  Pete Prevost from Sanctus Real (guitar & keys), and his wife, Melissa, have had their second baby.  It’s a boy!  Lawson Lee Prevost was born March 13th and joins his big sister Bennett.

Missing Beanie:  Poor Jason Gray lost have favorite hat while on tour in Canada earlier this month.  He tweeted this:  Lost my favorite hat today. My brown knit beanie. In Canada. And then I ate way too many Tim Horton's donuts. Rough day.  Rough day, indeed, Jason. 

Cutie Pie:  How cute is Laura Story, with her daughter?  Josie is rocking a pink tutu from Mandisa, who has been on tour with Laura and Brandon Heath.  This summer, she makes two appearances at the Worship Tent at Kingdom Bound.
