Family Life Artist News – 3/18/13

Worn Video:  Tenth Avenue North has debuted a new video for their song, “Worn.”  The song is on their “The Struggle” CD.

Old School Tunes:  In a word of virtual orchestras and digital downloads, Shawn McDonald’s upcoming CD took a retro approach.  Recording in a studio, live to tape, “The Analog Sessions” was recorded using a microphone that Frank Sinatra once sang into.  The album hits stores Tuesday, 3/26.  Listen to win a copy, and qualify for an autographed acoustic guitar, with a Tunesday on Family Life.

Good as Gold:  Congratulations to Laura Story.  Her “Blessings” CD was just certified as Digital Gold by the R.I.A.A.  She is currently on “The 3 in 1 Tour” with Mandisa and Brandon Heath, which made a stop in Syracuse, NY over the weekend.  This fall, look for her on tour with Family Life.  In the meantime, she is in the studio, working on a new album, due this fall.
