Neighborhoods in the Network / What’s Happening for Christmas (Warren, PA)
10.31.07 |
Downtown Warren, Pennsylvania is kicking into gear this weekend as it begins the march toward December and its popular celebration of Warren's Old Fashioned Christmas.
On November 2 and 3, 2007, Warren's downtown merchants will throw open their doors, hand out prizes and serve up refreshments in this kick off event called "What's Happening for Christmas." It's a merchants' weekend that serves as a prelude to the city's main act in December when Warren will celebrate the "Old Fashioned Christmas and Santa Parade." From December 2-9 there will be free family movies, arts shows, a scavenger hunt, a production of the Snow Queen, Santa's arrival, and Warren's unique "live windows," where musicians and actors perform in store front windows.
