Neighborhoods in the Network / Train Museum (Medina, NY)
05.14.08 |
The people at the Medina Railroad Museum, an hour northeast of Buffalo, encourage learning through railroading. One way they do this by bringing in the biggest, blue-est, and most exciting train imaginable: a full sized Thomas the Tank Engine.
Join Martha Manikas-Foster to learn how the "cheeky little engine" of the Rev. W. Awdry's children's books and television series has been sparking a renewed interest in trains---and how the Medina Railroad Museum helps families and individuals continue that education.
