Neighborhoods in the Network / It’s a Wonderful Life (Seneca Falls, NY)
12.05.07 |
For the people of Seneca Falls, NY, watching the 1946 movie "It's a Wonderful Life" is more than a Christmas tradition. It's a reflection of their village, because they believe the fictional town pictured in the Christmas movie classic was modeled after their upstate home. Join Martha Manikas-Foster to hear why the village half way between Rochester and Syracuse calls itself the "Real Bedford Falls" and celebrates each December with the "It's a Wonderful Life" weekend. This year's celebration will take place December 7-9.
