Inside Out 270: Should Christians Pursue Prenatal Testing?

Has there arisen a generation that knows not Leonard Ravenhill? This dedicated servant of Christ was used to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. His fiery messages are what he’s most remembered for. Those one liners that were like bullets fired from the pulpit and aimed right at the heart.
Wow. How did people react to his ministry? You either loved him or hated him.
I’ve included come clips of a few more “bullets” in my podcast featuring Leonard’s biographer Mack Tomlinson. His book In Light of Eternity is one of the best Christian biographies I’ve read this year. It will challenge you. Convict you. Inspire you. And God willing bring you to your knees before the Lord of Glory. Leonard Ravenhill would have it no other way.
Check out the book.
Inside Out airs Wednesdays at 12:20pm EST during the Family Life Noon Report.

I can't wait to read this... what I've heard is wonderful and refreshing in a world where we sometimes tend to sacrifice God's Holiness on the altar of God's Love and Mercy.
A.W. Tozer well addresses this in his book 'The Knowledge of The Holy", which is referenced in this podcast. The Gospel itself is offensive as it brings us face to face with our need for a savior. We cannot do anything to save ourselves and are dependent on the mercy of Christ. When we come to a point where our hunger and thirst for the Truth of the Living God, in His entirety for who He is rather than what we make Him out to be or who we (or the world) want him to be, then we can enter in to a life of true worship of the One who is worthy.

Ravenhill's book, Why Revival Tarries, was required reading when I attended Bethany Fellowship Missionary Training Center in Mpls, MN , where He was an evangelist for them for a while.
He also spoke at Odosagih Bible Conference back in the early 60's.

I recently used his video clips both live and quotes in a series of messages. Why Revival Tarries is one of the three books other than my Bible with worn pages. Leonard was a "prophet" in that He spoke God's heart to God's people from God's Word. Lately I've been praying God send us another "Leonard Ravenhill" more specifically, send a Leonard Ravenhill into my life.

This book was phenomenal. I feel it did great justice to Leonard Ravenhill's life and ministry. He was a rare man, one sent from God, and I feel that this is a book that we should all read, for his ministry was one of God's gifts to His church.

Just in time reference. I continue to pray for revival in myself, my family, our church, our city, county, state, nation, the world.
