Hey Bob,
Great interview.
This is so IRONIC in a few ways..
1. I taught on being Fruitful Christians & used Matthew 7:15-20 as one of the scriptures in my sermon Sunday.
2. Joel referenced that Jesus said by their fruit you will recognize them. That's the same passage (Matthew 7:15-20) Now get what the verse before what he referenced states (vs. 15) 15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them.
3. Here's the freaky part - I referenced Joel Osteen as the ferocious wolf in my sermon Sunday, and I turn on the radio at lunch and boom all this!
"I 100% believe that" referring to Jesus is the only way to heaven. Why hasn't he mentioned one single thought of Jesus Christ in any of his sermons?
Bob: Do you teach a prosperity gospel?
Joel: "I never knew what that meant"
"I tried to figure it out"
Stay far away from this wolves teachings.
It sounds good, looks good, feels right but it couldn't be any further from the TRUTH.
Keep up the great work Bob! You're very pleasant to listen to each day.
