Area Christian Filmmaker Releases "Standing Firm" on DVD

The new movie "Standing Firm" is being released on DVD August 24. Director Kyle Prohaska, a 22-year old Christian filmmaker from the Buffalo area, talked with Denny Brownlee about the movie, the challenges of working with an all volunteer cast and crew (much like "Facing the Giants") and the ways God worked during the production process to help drive home the theme of the movie - dealing with grief - in very real ways.

Its awesome that movies of faith can come out and minister to so many people. Movies like this and Facing the Giants, Fireproof etc, we need more like this.. Praise the Lord...

I must say that from just viewing the trailer, I am eagerly anticipating watching the whole movie which I ordered today. I am grateful for any and all forms of entertainment today which adequately portray the TRUTH of the Bible!
