People Making a Difference / ARM'ed and Ready for Missions

09.10.10 | Ed Thomas

SOMETIMES THE GOOD THAT'S DONE IN OUR OWN BACKYARD MAY BE THE NEWS THAT WE'RE LEAST AWARE OF. AND LAST WEEK ON OUR PEOPLE MAKING A DIFFERENCE FEATURE, WE LEARNED HOW DIANE HIGGINS, A WESTERN NEW YORK WOMAN WHO WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN HELPING TO ORGANIZE A YOUTH EVENT RAISING FUNDS FOR A HAITI ORPHANAGE, WAS WORKING HAND IN HAND WITH AN OUTREACH OF A GLOBAL MISSIONS MINISTRY HEADQUARTERED IN HER AREA OF THE STATE, THAT SHE WAS SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT.

THIS WEEK, WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS LEARNING ABOUT THAT VERY GROUP THAT'S WORKING STATESIDE AND AROUND THE WORLD TO HELP WITH MEDICAL AND OTHER HUMANITARIAN NEEDS IN HARD-HIT AREAS. TODAY ON MAKING A DIFFERENCE, ED THOMAS SPEAKS WITH DAVID MESSINGER, PRESIDENT OF ALLEGHANY REGION MISSIONS, ABOUT HIS ORGANIZATION AND THE COMMUNITY YOUTH MISSION THAT TOOK PLACE IN AUGUST.
