Live From the St. Patrick's Day Parade

03.17.09 | Martha Manikas-Foster

It is a beautiful day for a parade, and that is just what the organizers of the the largest St. Patricks' Day parade in the world want to see. 150-thousand people are taking part in this year's parade in New York City, and there is local representation. The Corning East Marching Band from Steuben County, New York is performing and FLN's Martha Manikas-Foster has a son in that band. She is in New York today soaking up all the action for the city's 248th annual parade.
