Inside Out 94: Informed Imagination
What if we could get into the Bible in such a way that our eyes were opened to the radical way Jesus changed everything? How would it look if we could find ways to absorb biblical facts, all the while allowing God’s Word to come to life so that we could, at least in part, see the heart of God?
I really think that most Christ-followers really want to know God; we want to hear what God has to say. But for some of us the Bible’s words have become so familiar that they’ve lost their wonder.
Listen in on this conversation with award-winning, seminary-trained recording artist, musician and author Michael Card. You’ll find that we’re talking about developing an informed biblical imagination, something that can make it more possible for us to interact with Scripture with our hearts and our minds so that we see the Bible with new eyes.
Michael Card has embarked on a new four-part book series he’s calling the Biblical Imagination Series, which will follow the four New Testament Gospels. The first book, and the topic of our discussion, is Luke: the Gospel of Amazement. For more information on Michael, click here. To learn more about the book, click here.
