Exodus 36:2 (ESV)
"And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work."
What skill has the Lord downloaded into you? You know, that skill that stirs your heart deeply in the place where your abilities and greatest passions collide. If your answer is the arts, I want to make sure you know all about an important conference set for this summer. It’s the Lamplighter Guild for Creative Disciplines, July 17-22 at The Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York. Dramatic and Visual Arts are among the areas that will be featured:
The leaders of the sessions are not only Christ followers, but among the best in their fields. The goal is to produce excellent work that both glorifies God and engages the culture.
After returning to the U.S. from London following the latest recording sessions for two new Lamplighter Theatres, Mark Hamby sat down with me to share his vision for this ambitious project.
Visit Lamplighter's website if you want additional info.
Inside Out airs Wednesdays at 12:20pm EST during the Family Life Noon Report.

I am very interested in the Lamplighter Guild, but because I am so young (16) and it cost so much i was wondering if they will have a similar program in the area that is less expensive. I love music and the thought of someday having a career in music that brings glory to God.
