Do you realize there is a conspiracy in play to rob you of your joy, purpose, and intimacy with God? It’s subtle and socially acceptable, encouraged and facilitated, even among Christians.

You might have indulged already today.

It’s discontentment.

Complaining and groaning is serious business because, whether we intend to or no,t we’re basically saying to God, “I don’t trust you. What I have isn’t good enough. You don’t know better than I do what I need.”

Ouch.

Many sins get tons of airtime in pulpits and on Christian radio and television, but contentment usually isn’t one of them.

I say... Bring on a little conviction! I need it.
