The modern environmental movement traces its roots to the first Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, 1970. Even a cursory study of the Bible, however, reveals God's much older commands to care for His creation. Join Martha Manikas-Foster in this Neighborhoods in the Network report to hear how Houghton College, a Christian liberal arts institution, is commemorating this day as Creation Day, one day in a week of activities that it is calling Creation Week.
