One of the most well-known actors in the world has vowed not to drink any alcohol. And he's stuck to his plan-- for almost a year. Daniel Radcliffe, the lead actor in the "Harry Potter" series, said you can have fame without living a lifestyle of fame. He said after he turned 18, he went off the rails, and became reliant on alcohol to enjoy life. He said he hasn't touched a drop of alcohol since last August, calling himself an "unsuccessful partier." He said "there's no shame in enjoying the quiet life" -- he rather be home with friends then at a party. Radcliffe is considered one of the most influential child actors of this decade; he started work on the Potter series when he was 9 years old.
