What Is A Stay At Home Mom Worth Today

What is a mom worth today? The website insure.com got in some trouble with stay at home moms when it pegged a their yearly salary at just 61-thousand dollars. Their survey averaged the amount of cash they'd make by cooking, cleaning, driving, childcare, tutoring, nursing, party planning, haircuts, shopping, family finances, and doing yard work.
MSN money had a totally different number. They said mom's shift usually starts, on average, at 6:30 in the morning and goes till 9:30 at night, 7 days a week, and at those hours, she should make more like $138,095 a year. Of course, their credibility came into question because their survey asked 40-thousand *moms* what they thought their own self-worth would be.
