A year after being convicted of DWI in a crash that killed a Buffalo-area teenager, a doctor from western new York has found himself, the victim of a crash caused by a drunk driver. Dr. James Corasanti suffered minor injuries when his “smart-car” was hit from behind by a 17 year-old girl who police say was driving drunk. Corasanti, a physician from Amherst spent less than a year in jail for causing the death of Alex Rice in the summer of 2011.  She was struck and killed while skateboarding home from work.  Family members were outraged the "doc" was convicted only of a misdemeanor.
