What Are The Most Trusted Professions

What are the most trusted professions? Priests are low on the list, according to a new study out of Germany. Firefighters actually topped the Readers Digest study, with 95 percent of people saying they trusted them. Hot on their heels were pilots and nurses, pharmacists, and doctors. But with the priest abuse scandals in the Catholic church last year, priests suffered the biggest loss of public faith, dropping 12 points in the poll, at 39 percent. The worst performers for 2011 were finance workers (14 percent), and car salesmen (10 percent), although it was politicians who came dead last, managing a feeble 7-percent trust rating.
