Us House Starts Investigation Into Planned Parenthood

Republicans in the House of Representatives are conducting a sweeping investigation into the nation's largest abortion provider: Planned Parenthood.  The House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee is particularly interested in how the women's health organization keeps federal funds separate from abortion services.  Committee Chairman Cliff Stearns of Florida has asked Planned Parenthood to turn over reams of financial information by Thursday.  Planned Parenthood is calling this a calculated Republican attack. They say they use the funds for things like birth control, not abortions.
