United Nations Wants Global Population Control

The United Nations is making a fresh call for population reduction. It could mean more programs, globally, for abortion. Steve Mosier, the Director of the pro-family pro-life Population Research Institute says "I'm worried that they're advocating what they've always advocated-- and that is that there are too many people in the world, and that human numbers should be reduced by promoting abortion globally by promoting sterlization and contraception campaigns." He went on to say "their name is the U.N. Population Fund. They were set up to engage in the kind of population control programs we've seen in China, with their one-child policy, and in Vietnam and North Korea with their 2-child policies, and elsewhere in the world." Mosier says the raw truth is that world population has been declining for decades, and some countries, like Japan, are actually well below their own replacement rates-- meaning the old outnumber the young.
