Inspectors from the United Nations will examine the newly-disclosed nuclear fuel facility in Iran on October 25th. President Obama called on Tehran to open the plant to inspectors within two weeks after that nation admitted it existed last week. International Atomic Energy Agency head Mohammed ElBaradei [[ el-BARE-uh-day ]] said Iran should have informed the IAEA the day they decided to build the facility, rather than wait until it was already under construction. Iran says the site is about a year and a half away from being complete. The Iranians agreed on Thursday to allow unfettered access to the site which is being built near a holy Shiite city. Western nations have long contended Iran is working to build nuclear weapons, while Tehran says its nuclear program is for energy.
