Tylenol Recall Expanded To Include Benadryl Other Products

A recall of Tylenol products over a mould smell has been expanded to include two other products. Drugmaker Johnson & Johnson is calling back certain batches of Extra Strength Tylenol Rapid Release Gels, as well as Benadryl Allergy Ultratablets. The company says trace amounts of an insecticide called TBA has been detected in the pills. The chemical reportedly leached into medicine bottles from wooden pallets that were treated with the insecticide.

In January, Johnson & Johnson recalled Tylenol, Children's Motrin, Children's Tylenol, Children's Zyrtec, Rolaids, Motrin IB and Benadryl products because of similar contamination. The company is a subsidiary of McNeil Consumer Healthcare, headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
