Three Women Running For Mayor Of Upstate Nys Largest Cities

In a state infamously govered by 3 men in a room, three women want to take the helm of major upstate cities. Rochester and Albany have the chance to elect their first female mayors come November, when Lovely Warren and Kathy Sheehan top the Democratic ticket. And in Syracuse, Mayor Stephanie Miner became that city's first female mayor 4 years ago, and is seeking re-election without a major party opponent. If they're elected, it would mark a history first for New York: three of its 6 largest cities would have women in the mayor's offices.
