The Majority Of Pennsylvanians Are Ok With Flashing An Id To Vote
09.17.12 |
A new poll out by the Inquirer Pennsylvania shows nearly two-thirds of Pennsylvanians support the state requiring a legal photo id to vote. 94-percent of those surveryed said it would not be difficult to obtain the necessary id to vote. Just 2 percent said it would be. But perhaps the most revealing data was the deep division between political parties. 85 percenr of republicans supported the new law, but just 51 percent of democrats did. The State Supreme Court heard arguments on the id law last week, and is expected to issue a ruling on its legality by the end of the month.
