Thanks To Your Donations Missionary Pilot Is Back To Work

10.14.11 | Sarah Harnisch

We have an update to a story we ran earlier: Dale Shaylor, the missionary pilot who needed a liver transplant, is back in Venezuala, helping to fly missionaries to their sites. Before last December, he was the only missionary pilot for the whole country.
Shaylor's story is one to inspire hope. He was handed a private jet when the family found out they had just hours to get him to a different state to recieve a liver. When he got there, God placed the surgeon that did Steve Job's pancreatic cancer surgery-- in the operating room.
Now, he's flying co-pilot for a while, but Dale is back to work.
