Tens Of Thousands Of Pro Lifers Calling The Senate This Week

03.22.11 | Sarah Harnisch

More than 1-million pro-Life activists have begun flooding congressional district offices with calls to defund Planned Parenthood.  The effort is backed by a half dozen organizations: the Susan B. Anthony List, the Family Research Council Action, 40 Days for Life, Students for Life of America, Concerned Women for America, Catholic Vote, LifeNews.com, American Values and Catholic Advocate. Together, on Monday, they launched a grassroots campaign to flood the phones of Members of Congress. Now through Friday they are asking every pro-lifer in America to call and visit district offices and attend town hall meetings while their representatives are in their home districts. Planned Parenthood gets $363 million in government funds each year. They also perform over 250 thousand abortions in America yearly.
