(New York, NY)  --  A newly-released Manpower survey shows hiring in the U.S. during the fourth quarter could slow down slightly. The employment outlook was given a plus-five, which is down one point from last quarter.  However, that number is still higher than a year ago.  Overall, the survey showed global employers are showing caution about hiring.  However, developed countries are in stark contrast to emerging economies, where jobs opportunities are at high levels.

Globally, China had the highest employment outlook followed by Taiwan and India.  The survey found the job outlook was flat or weaker in 22 countries and territories.  The numbers were based on 62-thousand interviews with human resource and other mangers.
