Study Why Men Dont Apologize As Much As Women

Women always seem to apologize more than men, now researchers think they've figured out why.  A study -- published online in the journal "Psychological Science" -- shows men have a "higher threshold" for bad behavior.  Canadian researchers at the University of Waterloo say women tend to apologize more than men because women believe they commit more wrongdoings.  Men, they say, just don't see "wrong" the same way as women do.

Stereotypes aside, the study found men didn't try to avoid or refuse making an apology if they thought they were in the wrong.  Another difference discovered, showed that men were less likely to be offended than women.  Researchers say its simply a different standard between the sexes on what's considered offensive behavior.
