Speaker Lee Made Right Decision To Resign

(Washington, DC) -- Republican House Speaker John Boehner says Congressman Christopher Lee made the right call by resigning. Boehner was asked if Republican leaders pressured Lee to resign.
Lee, a New York Republican, abruptly resigned after a report surfaced that he flirted online despite being married. The resignation came after the gossip site Gawker posted a bare-chested photo of him that he apparently sent a woman he met on Craigslist. Although married with a child, Lee reportedly told the 34-year-old woman he was single and worked as a lobbyist. The woman searched online for his name and realized he had lied. She then leaked their e-mail exchanges to Gawker.
